very much the watercolour style this track. the big drums sound excellent more of this please. when the bassline came in then dropped with the beat sounded very smooth, nicely done.

I was gonna add some dist drums. Anyways, glad that I've made my style.

YEAH!

this track i really do like. the others havent had me entirely convinced but the chords in this are really nice and evocative. beautiful sound to it. more tracks like this and ill be your fanboy np.
excellent!

amb

very strange opening synth noises but i like :) im starting to see a trend with your tracks now. womb like ambience. im a fan of the ambience, but i think it would help u to be a bit more confident and bold with your music. just my two cents anyway. this is a good track.

acid?

love the synth that comes in at the start. nice round sound. builds up into drums and something resembling acid. quite nice, but really takes off when the reverbed melody comes in. nice groove and good production skills on here. goodwork :)

ambient

cant wait to hear your best work so far. really like the moody intro. the nasa recordings make for the classic cliche ambience, very nice. sounds funky when the base comes in with the white noise percussion. loose ambience and swooping synths over the rest of the track. i would have liked to see this build in with more solid drums and a stronger groove. but, i think ive probably missed the point. it seems to be an primarily and ambient piece.

plink

i like the open melody sample / synth. very crisp glass sounding plink tone. really smooth change as the synth goes from high down to low.

it has a strange build into the drumnbass section. the baseline synth itself is quite good altho could do with a sub underneither perhaps. the drums seemed a bit over distorted to be conventional dnb. good track

second version

hmmm didnt realise there was 2 version of the same tune. ill be interested to see how they differ. im about 20seconds in atm. i like the addition of drums on this second version gives it a different feel. they are perhaps a bit brutal but i think it still works. definately an improvement +

the female vocal as the light drums come in is effective. and the tweaking before the big ass breakbeat comes in is pretty good.

ambient

dream-like ambience. then the lounge chords kick in and start changing the mood slightly, but its still overlooked by the initial melody, some nice contrasts here. i wouldnt say squarepusher-ish its too sweet but i do know what u mean, tommib.

dnb

sounds like locamotive drumnbass inside a toilet (with the ambience) pretty cool track tho despite that analogy. a little bit short but interesting.

um

sounds german. bleak as hell. not that german's are bleak :) oof, we've suddenly jumped from germany to middle eastern style sitars and a funky beat. weird change. hmmmm still sounds bleak tho. cool track.
hell if i know...

LJCoffee responds:

Yeah I like doing things like that I suppose - jamming things together that may not mix correctly - sparse drums mixed with the twitchy strings.

I really wasn't sure what to make of it hence the name...

Not much to say, i joined NG to try and promote my music, so please check it out. http://www.newground..698445&sub=57981 thanks
